Principal Message
Dear Parents and Students,
A new school year has begun! On behalf of all our teachers and staff, I warmly welcome every student back to campus. To those joining us for the first time, especially our Primary 1 students and new members across all levels, I look forward to sharing this exciting journey with you in our caring and joyful school community. May God bless each of you with good health—physically, mentally, and spiritually—as you embark on this new chapter.
We give thanks for the faithful and dedicated leadership of Principals Choi, Yeung, and Ng, under whom our school has grown into a distinguished, holistic Christian school in Shatin. I am deeply honored to serve as the fourth principal of Christian Alliance H.C. Chan Primary School. Having been part of this school community for many years, I cherish the deep affection I hold for it. Together with our committed teachers and staff, I am eager to lead our school forward, continuing to uphold excellence and to be a beacon of quality Christian education in the Shatin district. Our mission remains to develop each student’s potential, nurture positive values, and guide them to become faithful “Christian Soldiers.”
This year, we remain committed to our guiding motto: “Christian Soldiers, Creative Explorers.” We encourage all students to walk in the footsteps of Jesus Christ, cultivating strong character and conduct. Our school will continue to provide meaningful service-learning opportunities that inspire students to actively serve others, fostering the Christian values of compassion, responsibility, and commitment.
At the same time, I sincerely hope our students will embrace curiosity and courage as they explore the world around them. Each year, we offer a rich variety of learning experiences designed to unlock their creativity and talents. In today’s ever-changing world, developing creativity, critical thinking, and reflection is essential, and we strive to nurture a spirit of exploration and innovation in all we do.
I believe that every student is uniquely gifted with limitless potential. Whatever challenges you may face, I encourage you to persevere with confidence and faith in your abilities. Remember, setbacks are opportunities for growth, and every effort you make brings you closer to success. As we begin this new school year, I leave you with this verse for encouragement:
“Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD.” (Psalm 31:24)
May God strengthen our hearts and guide us as we face the journey ahead together.
May God’s blessings and grace be with us all throughout the year.
With warm regards,
Principal Fung
