School-based Reading Workshops

We are pleased to utilize the NET Section's PLP-R/W Programme (P.1 – P.3) which has been proven to enhance the reading and writing skills of young learners. We utilize phonics, songs and games to motivate students to actively participate in English lessons.

Buddy System

Aims: Training a group of senior students to tell stories to P.1-P.2 students, their confidence and skills in speaking English can be enhanced. Meanwhile, P.1-P.2 students can enjoy listening to English stories.
Implementation: The NET teaches the students the skills storytelling. Then, they go to the P.1-P.2 classrooms during the reading time to tell English stories in small groups.

Space Town Programme

We are pleased to utilize the NET Section’s Space Town Programme which has been proven to enhance the reading and writing skills of the young learners. We use phonics, songs and games to motivate students to actively participate in English lessons.

English Ambassadors

The programme is meant to provide the ambassadors with opportunities to participate in various activities so as to enable them to grow their leadership and communication skills. We aim at helping the students enjoy the learning experiences and boosting their confidence and enjoyment of being an English Ambassador. The English Ambassadors truly have contributed to creating an English-rich environment at school.
